The short version: Doca is built to know as little about you as possible.
The app
- Doca has no accounts and no sign-in. We don't know who you are.
- Your files stay on your Mac. Doca does not upload, sync, or copy them anywhere.
- If you connect an AI provider (Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini CLI), your content goes directly from your machine to that provider under your agreement with them - never through our servers. Consult your provider's privacy policy for how they handle it.
Purchases
Checkout is handled by Gumroad, which processes your payment details and email under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address as the buyer, and use it only for the receipt, download link, and essential product notices.
The website
This site is static and sets no tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics in the future, this policy will say so explicitly.
The Windows waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store your email for one purpose: telling you when Doca for Windows exists. No newsletters, no sharing, and you can ask for removal anytime.
